About us
In 1972 Andreas Van Apers, Joris' father, founded Andreas Van Apers Bv. The emphasis then was on the sale of old building materials and the furniture and stone workshop to process the building materials. Interior design was added to the business over the years.
After a career as an engineer, Joris was introduced to the construction and interior design business in his parents' company. Inspired by this experience, he then decided to start Joris Van Apers Bv in 2008 together with his wife Caroline De Wolf.
Later, in 2015, together they also founded Studio Joris Van Apers, the interior design and project practice. As creative director, Joris supports the multidisciplinary team that creates contemporary, sophisticated spaces. Both residential and commercial and both new construction and renovation.

Distinctive materials & studios
We have a large stock of recovered building materials and unique architectural elements. These can be viewed at our site in Reet. Our stone sawing & cutting and woodworking workshops are also located here.
We go through the process of design, material selection and creation together. This is also why all of our disciplines are housed in one location. Because we believe that we can only achieve our signature when we work closely together as companions.
